What we’re going to show to you is how to make Palitaw.  Palitaw a small flat sweet dessert that is well known in the Philippines food delicacy.  Palitaw is made from washed, ground sticky rice or “kaning malagkit” but here we will be using the glutinous rice flour to minimize the time in grinding and soaking the sticky rice.  This are cooked on just plain boiling water and once they started to float it indicated that they are done and that where they got the name palitaw.   The palitaw once cooked will be dipped in grated young coconut, toasted sesame seeds and sugar.
