Apple Pie

 Ingredients
2 CRUST PIE
2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2/3 cup margarine
6 to 7 tbsp. cold water

FILLING:
6 pcs. tart apples, sliced
1/2 cup sugar
1 tbsp. calamansi juice
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 cup honey
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tbsp. evaporated milk
 



Instructions
Crust:
Measure dry ingredients into bowl. Cut in margarine until the size of corn meal. Add water and mix. Form into two balls. Roll pastry and fit into a pie pan. Place filling in pie pan and cover with another pie crust. Make slits on top pie crust.

Filling:
Dredge sliced apples in cornstarch and arrange in pastry. Sprinkle sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, juice and honey on top of apple slices. Dot with butter. Cover with the top crust. Brush with evaporated milk. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 30-40 minutes or until golden brown.
