2/3 cup margarine
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 cup chopped nuts (casuy, almonds, walnuts)
1/2 cup small chocolate pieces

Cream shortenings. Add sugar, eggs and dry ingredients. Add nuts and chocolate morsels. Drop by teaspoonful in ungreased baking sheet 2 inches apart. Bake at 375 degrees F. for 10 minutes or until done. Take out from sheet while hot to prevent from sticking. Yield 50 pieces 1 1/2 inch diameter.
